The President of the Armenian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ArSCRS), Vahe Nanian, and Vice President Satik Martirosyan participated in the 43rd Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), held in Copenhagen from September 12–16.
They attended the meeting of national ophthalmology associations and societies, held under the leadership of the newly elected ESCRS President Dick.
The discussions focused on ongoing projects, current challenges, and potential solutions. The Armenian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons also presented an important proposal aimed at strengthening scientific collaboration and initiating new joint programs between the Armenian and European ophthalmology communities.
